Commonly 'human
resources planning' but I prefer the word 'people' because it's not
'resources' that make a project succeed or fail, it's
PEOPLE.

The process of
people planning links the staffing needs of an organisation to its
strategic plan to ensure that staffing is sufficient, qualified,
and competent enough to achieve the organization's
objective.
|
This is of huge
importance in maintaining a competitive advantage and reducing
employee turnover.
|
